Mr. Pham Van Duoc - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the emulation movement "Lam Dong workers follow Uncle Ho's teachings" was launched in 2023. Accordingly, along with propaganda and mobilization work, union members and workers responded to participate in the movement, which was integrated into the contents, work programs, regular activities...; unions at all levels also developed programs and plans to organize implementation with appropriate solutions, linked to the tasks of each unit and enterprise; concretize the emulation content suitable for each position and department; have separate action plans, linked to production and business tasks. “The movement focuses on encouraging emulation of good workers, creative workers, technical innovation, production rationalization; organizing skill competitions, improving labor productivity and product quality. Including the criteria of “Following Uncle Ho’s teachings” in monthly and quarterly emulation assessments. We hope that the movement will develop both in breadth and depth at each grassroots union,” said Mr. Pham Van Duoc.

The movement quickly spread widely to all levels of trade unions and received the response and participation of a large number of workers and laborers with specific actions such as: improving educational level, professional expertise, self-study, research, training and retraining; improving class awareness, sense of organization and discipline, industrial style, labor productivity, improving knowledge and law to create jobs, stable income, build businesses and contribute to the development of Lam Dong locality.

The Trade Union and enterprises have preserved national identity andeducated patriotic traditions; built a positive, humane and responsible lifestyle in the community; created an environment to study and practice Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style.

• VITALITY OF THE MOVEMENT

After more than 2 years of implementation, the emulation movement "Lam Dong workers follow Uncle Ho's teachings" has received consensus, evaluation and recognition from Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations from the province to the grassroots level and many enterprises. Many grassroots trade unions have built a model of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example in conjunction with performing professional tasks, promoting efficiency in production and business activities of enterprises and trade union activities at the grassroots level. The emulation movement "Lam Dong workers follow Uncle Ho's teachings" has attracted a large number of union members and workers in Lam Dong province to participate; gradually becoming a regular need of cadres, union members and workers. That is the basis for building the image of union cadres, union members and workers with a sense of responsibility, professional capacity, close to the practical situation of the workers' movement and trade union activities.

Many individual workers have strived, trained, studied, and advanced in their work and production, achieving high achievements in the emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers". They are pioneers in creative exploration, passionate about research to bring new scientific and technological advances into production, contributing to the increasing productivity of enterprises, actively contributing to the development of enterprises and economic development, ensuring social security of Lam Dong province.

In response to the requirements of development and implementation of the goal of "Continuing to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably, becoming a fairly developed province of the country"; at the same time, achieving achievements to welcome Party congresses at all levels towards the 12th Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 14th National Party Congress; from the results achieved in 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo (term XII) on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", the emulation movement "Lam Dong workers follow Uncle Ho's teachings" continues to strengthen innovation in implementation solutions and propaganda forms.

“Bringing the movement to every grassroots union, so that workers can understand him, arouse patriotism, learn from and follow him, that is our goal,” Mr. Pham Van Duoc informed. This will be a long-term movement of the Trade Union organization in the process of self-change to keep up with the rapid progress of the globalization era.
