Quang Nam Provincial leaders offer flowers to Uncle Ho's statue, work with the Mayor of the Capital of Venezuela

Also offering flowers to the statue of Uncle Ho were Ms. Tatiana Pugh - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of Asia, the Middle East and Oceania (Venezuela); Mr. Vu Trung My - Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela and the participation of many Venezuelan people who love Vietnam.

Next, the provincial delegation visited the “El Cuartel de la Montaña” Memorial; laid flowers at the tomb of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez Frías.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung and the provincial delegation had a working session with Ms. Carmen Menendez - Member of the Politburo of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Mayor of Caracas.

Also attending the meeting were Mr. Vu Trung My - Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela, representatives of relevant departments of the Caracas Capital Government.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung expressed his emotion at the sentiments that the Venezuelan people in general and the capital Caracas in particular have for Vietnam, for President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyr Nguyen Van Troi - a native son of Quang Nam.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Duc Dung invited Ms. Carmen Menendez to visit Quang Nam province, so that the two sides can have mutual understanding and move towards friendly cooperation in the coming time.

Ms. Carmen Menendez shared that the Venezuelan people in general and Caracas in particular love Vietnam very much. Caracas is the origin of many struggles in support of peace-loving peoples in the world, including Vietnam.

Ms. Carmen Menendez said she will visit Vietnam and Quang Nam province and hopes that the two localities of Caracas and Quang Nam will sign a cooperation agreement to exchange experiences in the future, especially in urban management...
