Quang Nam Provincial leaders visit and congratulate the National Day of the Lao PDR

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan sent congratulations from the leaders of Quang Nam province to Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan affirmed that over the past years, the cooperative relationship between Quang Nam and Sekong and Champasak provinces as well as the southern Lao localities in many fields has continuously developed strongly.

The two sides regularly exchange and welcome many high-ranking delegations to visit and work with each other. Through these visits, the cooperative relationship between Quang Nam and the localities of Southern Laos, especially in the fields of tourism , trade, investment, etc., is strengthened and consolidated. In particular, every year Quang Nam is honored to welcome many Lao students to study and research.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan hopes that, with his position and role, Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang will continue to support and influence more to promote the brotherly cooperation relationship between the localities of Southern Laos and Quang Nam, especially between Quang Nam and Sekong, Champasak in the fields of economic and trade development. In particular, creating opportunities for Quang Nam enterprises to contact, learn and invest in Laos...

"Quang Nam has planned to invest in upgrading the Nam Giang International Border Gate and connecting infrastructure to meet development requirements. We hope that the General Secretary will help and discuss with Lao localities and ministries to jointly invest in upgrading traffic infrastructure to create synchronization and meet the needs of transportation and circulation of goods," said Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan.

Thanking the leaders of Quang Nam province for their visit and good wishes on the occasion of Lao National Day, Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang said that in 2024, despite the impact of floods in the North, Laos's economic and social development will still grow steadily. The Lao Consul General in Da Nang hopes that the brotherly cooperation relationship between Quang Nam and the localities of Southern Laos in particular, and between Laos and Vietnam in general, will continue to be maintained and strengthened.

Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang also appreciated Quang Nam's acceptance of Lao students for training, and hoped that Quang Nam and southern Lao localities would increase visits more frequently, contributing to strengthening cooperation in the economic, cultural and social fields, together moving towards prosperous development.
