On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), this morning, the Long An Provincial Delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers being treated at the Long Dat Nursing Center for War Invalids and Meritorious People in Long Hai town, Long Dien district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Nguyen Van Ut kindly inquired about the health, encouraged the spirit, and at the same time expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the wounded and martyrs.

It is known that Long An province previously had 7 seriously wounded soldiers living and being treated at the center. Up to now, 4 people have passed away and have been recognized as Martyrs. Long An still has 3 seriously wounded soldiers being treated and cared for at the center.

On this occasion, the Provincial Gratitude Fund awarded 50 million VND to wounded soldier Nguyen Van Hoang to build and repair his house. At the same time, 7 gifts were given to 3 seriously wounded soldiers and 4 relatives of martyrs.
