Ho Chi Minh City leaders visit press agencies on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

(HMC) - On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of June 13, a delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Ngoc Hai visited and congratulated press agencies in the area.

Also participating in the delegation were representatives of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; City People's Committee Office; Department of Culture and Sports and representatives of the City Journalists Association.

The delegation of Ho Chi Minh City led by Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Ngoc Hai visited and congratulated Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper.

At the headquarters of the City Women's Newspaper (No. 311 Dien Bien Phu, District 3), Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Ngoc Hai sent his congratulations to the entire team of reporters, editors, and staff of the editorial office; at the same time acknowledged and praised the positive contributions of the Newspaper in propagating the policies and guidelines of the Party, State and City; deeply reflecting issues of social life, especially issues related to women and children.

Ho Chi Minh City delegation visited and congratulated Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine.

Next, at the headquarters of Saigon Entrepreneur Magazine (No. 12 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1), the Delegation had a friendly meeting with the leaders, staff and reporters of the Magazine.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee highly appreciated the role of the Magazine in accompanying the business community, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of business people, contributing to promoting the investment and business environment in the city to develop further.

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Duong Ngoc Hai hopes that press agencies will continue to accompany the Party Committee, government and people of the city in the process of rapid and sustainable development.

Speaking at the meetings, Mr. Duong Ngoc Hai affirmed that the city always respects and acknowledges the contributions of the press to the cause of building and developing Ho Chi Minh City.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, press agencies will continue to promote political courage, professional ethics, constantly innovate, improve information quality, become a reliable media channel, accompanying the Party Committee, Government and People of the City in the journey of strong development of the new era.
