Provincial People's Committee leaders work with the Provincial Tax Department

On February 28, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Provincial Tax Department on implementing key tasks and solutions for state budget collection in 2024. Attending were comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, localities and related units.

In 2024, the Provincial Tax Department was assigned the State budget revenue estimate (domestic revenue) in the province of 3,947 billion VND, of which land use fee collection is 800 billion VND (provincial budget land use fee collection is 632.5 billion VND). To complete the revenue estimate, from the beginning of the year, the Provincial Tax Department has focused on synchronously implementing 8 groups of solutions. Therein, strengthening inspection and examination work, building and effectively implementing solutions to prevent budget loss in the business and land sectors; promoting the management of tax debts and electronic invoices; disseminating and promptly supporting tax policies and tax administrative procedures, especially policies on tax exemption, reduction and extension, fees, land rent for businesses and people, ensuring fairness, transparency, and practical application in life...

Comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session with the Provincial Tax Department.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Tax Department to coordinate with sectors and localities to strive to collect more than 4,000 billion in 2024, creating momentum to collect more than 5,000 billion in 2025, moving towards successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025. To achieve the set goals, he requested the Provincial Tax Department to regularly and closely monitor the development of taxpayers' production and business situation; focus on reviewing and identifying potential revenue sources, fields and types of taxes with revenue losses to promptly propose and advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct sectors and local levels to closely coordinate with tax authorities in revenue management and combating budget revenue losses. Focus on, assign relevant departments and branches to resolutely and urgently advise on establishing procedures for auctioning land use rights, bidding for projects using land and focus on resolving, accelerating the progress and implementation time of tasks related to specific land valuation of projects with land use fee collection to create sources of increased revenue for the provincial budget. At the same time, promptly implement policies on exemption, reduction, extension of tax, fee, charge, land rent of the National Assembly and the Government; simplify administrative procedures, shorten the time to handle administrative procedures to remove difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, create favorable conditions for enterprises and people to promote production, business, encourage and attract investment, improve the investment and business environment, and improve the PCI index of the Province. Closely coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant units in urging the collection of taxes arising from investment projects in the area, especially in handling and recovering arrears related to land, fees for granting mineral exploitation rights, and arrears after inspections, checks, and audits. Regarding electronic invoices (E-invoices), the Tax sector continues to promote propaganda about the benefits of E-invoices generated from cash registers to people, stores, and petroleum businesses in accordance with the regulations on issuing electronic invoices for each sale in Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP of the Government; the Tax authority will soon organize a separate topic to discuss and work with stores and petroleum businesses in the province and businesses providing E-invoice solutions to share experiences in successfully implementing the issuance of E-invoices generated from cash registers for each sale...
