Phuoc Tra commune leaders visit and support people isolated by floods

DNO - On October 29, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuoc Tra commune, Nguyen Van Nam, directly inspected Na No area, visited, encouraged and presented necessities to people of ethnic minorities who are isolated.

Na No area currently has 35 Cadong ethnic households with 163 people isolated due to rising floodwaters. The delegation handed out gifts including instant noodles, rice, dried fish, and canned fish to help people stabilize their lives and overcome this difficult period.

Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nam inspected the back of Na No residential area and the road in Sam Den area, the intersection between Que Luu commune (old) and Phuoc Gia commune (old). When heavy rains last for a long time, floodwaters rise, posing a risk of landslides and danger to people.

The Party Secretary of Phuoc Tra commune affirmed that the commune will continue to closely monitor the situation and mobilize all resources to support people in isolated areas, ensuring no one lacks food during the flood season.

Phuoc Tra commune currently has 6 isolated locations. Militia, police and organizations are urgently supporting the evacuation of people, ensuring the safety of people and property.
