Lao Cai arranges 27 high school graduation exam sites

In the 2025 high school graduation exam, Lao Cai province will have 27 testing sites located in districts, towns, and cities, an increase of 1 testing site compared to 2024.

Students of Lao Cai High School for the Gifted actively review and prepare for the exam.

Accordingly, the examination sites are located in 9 districts, towns and cities of the province. Specifically: Lao Cai city has 6 examination sites; Bac Ha, Bao Thang, Bao Yen, Muong Khuong, Van Ban districts each have 3 examination sites; Bat Xat, Simacai districts and Sa Pa town each have 2 examination sites. The whole province is expected to have 399 examination rooms and 14 waiting rooms to serve the organization of the examination.

Students of the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School actively review outside of class hours.

Regarding the organization of exams for those who have completed generaleducation /continuing education programs but have not graduated from high school in previous years, those who have a high school diploma taking the exam to use the results as a basis for registration for admission, those who have a secondary school diploma taking the exam to use the results as a basis for registration for university and college admission (referred to as independent candidates):

- Independent candidates will register online or directly at High Schools No. 1 of districts, towns, Specialized High Schools and High Schools No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 of Lao Cai city.

- Independent candidates (with a high school/intermediate diploma) who wish to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam as a basis for registering for university and college admission with the exam questions of the current general education program will take the exam at one of the 5 exam sites located in Lao Cai city (Lao Cai Specialized High School, Provincial Boarding Ethnic High School and High Schools No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 of Lao Cai city).

- Independent candidates (who have completed the general education/continuing education program before 2025) but have not graduated from high school and candidates who have a high school/intermediate diploma and wish to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam as a basis for registering for university and college admission with the exam questions of the 2006 General Education Program will take the exam at testing site No. 6 located in Lao Cai city (High School No. 4, Lao Cai city).

The 2025 high school graduation exam will be held from June 25 to 28.
