Lantern offering ceremony, praying for national peace and prosperity
Within the framework of the procession, enshrinement and worship of Buddha's relics, on the evening of May 27, at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, a flower offering ceremony and prayers for national peace and prosperity took place. Attending the ceremony were comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh Province, Provincial National Assembly Deputies, along with thousands of people and Buddhists from all over the country.

At the ceremony, delegates and a large number of people and Buddhists performed rituals to pray for peace, chanted sutras, and recited Buddha's name, praying for the country to be prosperous and peaceful , and for the people to be warm, well-off, safe, and happy.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, people and Buddhists lit more than 5,000 flower lanterns to respectfully offer to Buddha right in Truc Lam Palace, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere. In particular, the program of combining the words "Quoc Thai Dan An" lit by 1,000 candles in the large yard of Truc Lam Palace and the impressive low-altitude fireworks display brought many experiences to people, tourists and a large number of Buddhists.

According to the Organizing Committee, after three days of the event, over one million people, tourists and Buddhists came to Yen Tu to pay homage to the Buddha's relics. This is not only an opportunity to show respect to the Buddha but also an opportunity for each person to practice the Buddha's teachings on compassion, wisdom, moral values, and mindfulness to build a peaceful world .
The words "National peace - People peace" are made of 1,000 candles, lit in the middle of the large yard of Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace.
The worship of Buddha's relics at Yen Tu will continue throughout the night and end at 5am on May 28. Then, at 6:30am on the same day, Buddha's relics will be carried to Chuong Pagoda (Hung Yen province). Monks, nuns, Buddhists and people with affinity can attend the procession to wholeheartedly turn to Buddha and create good karma during the Buddha's birthday season.
