Launching Ceremony of Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation

On the afternoon of April 15, in Hanoi , the Association of Vietnamese Craftsmen and Brands held a ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Vietnam Brand Day and the launching ceremony of the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation under the Association.

The Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation was established under a license issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology . Accordingly, the main functions of the Institute are: Scientific research and implementation of topics and programs on information technology, digital technology and application software in the fields of handicrafts, industry, trade and services; Providing scientific and technological services such as: Consulting, application and technology transfer; Propagating, disseminating knowledge, organizing conferences, scientific seminars, training to improve professional qualifications in research fields...; Cooperating in research with domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to carry out the Institute's tasks.

Immediately after the decision to establish was announced, the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation launched its Board of Directors and Management Council. The Vietnam Association of Craftsmen and Brands is the direct management unit of the Institute; Mr. Le Doan Hop, former Minister of Information and Communications , assumed the position of Founding Director.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Doan Hop - Founding Director of the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation affirmed: “The establishment of the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation is a "3 right" policy, which are: Right time, right situation and right era. This is the time when the Party and the State are focusing on digital transformation. This is the time when the whole country is devoting all its efforts to digital transformation. Right era when the whole world is entering the 21st century with the technological revolution and digital transformation. The members of the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation are all healthy, intelligent and ambitious. We believe that with a united collective action, we will certainly succeed."

Sharing the same expectation, when attending and congratulating this meaningful event, Dr. Le Ngoc Dung - Chairman of the Association of Vietnamese Craftsmen and Brands hoped that in the future, the Institute of Technology Application and Digital Transformation will accompany all levels and sectors to promote the digital transformation process in Vietnam to success.
