Latest schedule for announcing university admission scores in 2025

(Dan Tri) - According to the request of the Ministry of Education and Training, schools will have to announce the 2025 university admission scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.

According to the plan, from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20, schools will upload data and admission information of candidates including high school graduation exam scores, results of separate exams, high school study results... on the system and organize admission.

At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Training also processes the system to determine the highest wish among the wishes for which the candidate is eligible to be admitted.

By 5pm on August 20, schools will enter the admission scores and admission results into the common system. After review, the first round of admission scores will have to be announced before 5pm on August 22.

Successful candidates must enroll online on the system before 5:00 p.m. on August 30.

The 2025 high school graduation and university entrance exams are the first exam season under the 2018 general education program. This year's graduation rate decreased slightly, at about 99.21%, equivalent to nearly 9,000 candidates.

According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's exam had more than 1.16 million candidates participating. As of July 28, the general admission system had only 849,544 candidates registered for admission. Thus, more than 300,000 candidates did not register for university and college admission in 2025, accounting for approximately 27%.
