Where to watch Gwangju Billiards World Cup 2025 live?
The Vietnamese players competing in the third qualifying round of the Gwangju Billiards World Cup 2025 include: Nguyen Hoan Tat, Nguyen Chi Long, Le Thanh Tien, Thon Viet Hoang Minh and Nguyen Nhu Le. Of which, Nguyen Nhu Le is the only player who "escaped" the second qualifying round. The remaining four players were pre-determined to appear from the third qualifying round.
Two Vietnamese players, Nguyen Hoan Tat and Nguyen Nhu Le, are in Group B, next to Pierre Soumagne (France). In the opening match at 9am, Hoan Tat will face Nhu Le. Depending on the result of the above match, Hoan Tat and Nhu Le will take turns facing the French player at 12pm and 3pm.
Nguyen Chi Long is in group E with Tatsuo Arai (Japan) and Jose Miguel Soares (Portugal). Chi Long will play his first match against Tatsuo Arai at 9:00.
Thon Viet Hoang Minh is in group F with Ryuuji Umeda (Japan) and Ahmet Alp (Türkiye). Hoang Minh will face Umeda at 9:00.

Depending on the result of the first round, Chi Long, Hoang Minh and Thanh Tien will play the decisive match at 12 or 15 o'clock.
All matches of Vietnamese players at the Gwangju Billiards World Cup 2025 will be broadcast live on the SOOP Live platform (link: https://billiards.sooplive.co.kr/schedule).
Looking at the table, it can be seen that Thon Viet Hoang Minh will have a hard time facing Ryuuji Umeda - the former World Champion of 3-cushion billiards (World Championship). The challenge for Le Thanh Tien (who won the 3-cushion billiards national championship in 2024) is also not small. Anguita is a skilled player and eliminated the potential name of Vietnam - Nguyen Van Tai in the second qualifying round. Meanwhile, Kahofer has shown good form recently, reaching the semi-finals of the World Championship 2025 (in Belgium, November 18) and only lost to the genius Frederic Caudron.
The third qualifying round has 48 players participating, divided equally into 16 groups (3 players each). The players play a round robin to calculate points and rank. The top 16 players in each group will qualify for the fourth (final) qualifying round.
