The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival - Ho Do 2023 (abbreviated as Ho Do 2023) is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Organizing Committee for Major Holidays, coordinated by the Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center and other units. The Organizing Committee said that this will be a true international music festival based on the city's policy and investment, with the expectation of bringing Vietnamese music into the flow of modern music; preserving and spreading the values ​​of national music and culture to the world, and at the same time bringing music closer to the Ho Chi Minh City public in a more modern form.

According to the Organizing Committee, with the spirit of borderless music, bringing the world to Vietnam and bringing Vietnam to the world through transmitting and spreading musical and cultural values ​​is one of the primary missions of Ho Do.

With that meaning, Ho Do is expected by the city to become an annual music festival, bearing the mark of Vietnamese culture, having a solid position on the world music festival "map", being a familiar destination not only for domestic audiences, but also attracting international audiences to travel to Ho Chi Minh City to experience.

Unlike previous years, Ho Do 2023 is developed to become a project with a series of special programs lasting from September to the end of December 2023, in the center of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Accordingly, this year's Ho Do will have 4 Ho Do Inspiration - HOZO Inspired Talents shows (in the last week of each month at Lam Son Park, District 1, starting from September), 3 HOZO Super Fest nights (on December 22, 23, 24 at Nguyen Hue walking street and Le Loi street).

Along with that, there are also plans to carry out accompanying activities such as: HOZO University tour, Music Video Theme song, workshops to learn about international music trends, talent search programs... on multiple platforms, with the desire to reach out - create many playgrounds, build and develop a loyal community of people who love to enjoy music and culture in Vietnam in general, in Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
