On the afternoon of January 21, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Dinh province held the inauguration ceremony of the At Ty mascot cluster in 2025. This year's mascot cluster is considered by tourists to be very mysterious and imbued with the culture of Binh Dinh people.

According to the leader of the Department of Culture and Sports of Binh Dinh province, the mascot cluster of the year At Ty 2025 at Nguyen Tat Thanh square was inspired by the statue of the 5-headed Naga snake god at the special national relic of Duong Long Cham Tower (Tay Son district, Binh Dinh). In Sanskrit, Naga means big cobra. The Naga snake is a mythical animal and is often depicted as a snake with many heads (usually 5, 7 or 9 heads). With a unique shape, the Naga snake has a very large hood, covering many heads.

According to ancient beliefs, the Naga snake is the spirit of nature, protecting water sources such as rivers, streams, and underground aquifers, helping crops to flourish. Therefore, the Naga snake god is a symbol of prosperity, warmth, and happiness.

The back of the mascot cluster faces the sea, with a modern stylized shape following the digital transformation and technology trends of the future; behind the mascot cluster is a pair of clenched hands symbolizing the solidarity and determination of Binh Dinh to catch up with the trend of 4.0 technology.

Talking to Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Phan Vinh Nguyen, representative of Duc Nhan Fine Arts Company (the unit that constructed the mascot cluster and decorated the Nguyen Sinh Sac - Nguyen Tat Thanh monument campus), in order to promote the unique cultural heritage value and promote tourism development in the province, the mascot cluster of the year At Ty 2025 takes the image of the Duong Long tower cluster and the Naga snake statue, in which the Duong Long tower cluster is the main backdrop with a height of 7.5 m, the 5-headed Naga snake mascot is 5 m high, vividly simulated and placed in front of the center of the Duong Long tower cluster statue. In addition, the sound, light and steam effects create a rather mysterious scene, bringing viewers to the land of Binh Dinh rich in cultural sediments.

According to Mr. Nguyen, behind are two hands clasped together to enter a new era, an era of national growth. As for the snake symbol behind Duong Long tower, it is a technological snake, with a greater meaning of joining hands to build a rich and strong homeland, Binh Dinh. "To construct this mascot cluster, it takes 100 workers, and it took nearly 4 months to complete, but we had to work day and night. There are many teams such as structure, electrical system, workers at the workshops... When making this mascot cluster, the most difficult problem was the weather, because this year Binh Dinh has had prolonged rain," said Mr. Nguyen.
