Community-oriented reproductive support center at Quoc Anh Hospital

According to statistics from the Ministry of Health , about 7.7% of the Vietnamese population has problems with infertility, while the cost of treatment is high but not covered by health insurance. In particular, ordinary laborers such as workers, farmers, and freelancers often do not have enough money to access in vitro fertilization (IVF) services, even though they always want to have children.

In the context of low birth rate and population decline being long-term problems in Vietnam, IVF Quoc Anh supports infertile couples with low income to realize their dream of having children, contributing to increasing the birth rate in this population group. At the same time, state policy is encouraging women under 35 years old to have two children. For women who have difficulty having children, there needs to be early and timely support solutions so that they do not miss the golden time to have children.

On the opening day of the center (May 25), Professor and Doctor Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, the pioneer who brought IVF technology to Vietnam, shared: "We bring high technology from abroad not only to serve those with economic conditions. We must do something so that the poor also have the opportunity to receive treatment. I think this is very valuable, especially for laborers, workers, and low-income people." According to Doctor Ly Thien Trung (Quoc Anh IVF Center), every penny saved by patients will help their families get closer to their dream of becoming parents.
