Long An prepares to organize the mock meeting of "Children's People's Council in 2024"

In order to promote children's right to participate in relevant issues in accordance with the psychology and abilities of children in the province, at the end of July, the People's Council of Long An province will organize a mock meeting of the "2024 Children's People's Council" in the form of a question and answer session.

9.7 Long An prepares to organize the mock meeting of "Children's Council in 2024"

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Council's child delegates are students studying at the junior high school level in the 2023-2024 school year, selected from districts, towns and cities in the province. The mock session is held directly in the form of a question-and-answer session of all People's Council delegates. Focusing on a number of issues, such as: Education programs for students, especially on life skills, ethics and personality education; Prevention and control of school violence; Guidance and protection of children to interact healthily in the online environment; Organizing recreational activities for children, etc.

The meeting aims to create an environment and conditions for children to express their thoughts and aspirations.   To form in children a sense of concern for society; at the same time, to gradually help them approach and become familiar with our country's state administration; to promote children's right to participate in issues related to children.
