Upon receiving information about a major fire at Quang Viet Company Limited in Tan Huong Industrial Park, located in Tan Huong Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Long An Province Police reported to the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors to mobilize 2 specialized fire trucks and 12 soldiers to quickly arrive at the scene to support fire fighting and rescue.

“The location of the fire is adjacent to Long An province. Accordingly, Long An fire fighting forces and vehicles quickly approached the scene and coordinated with other forces to actively fight the fire to control the situation as quickly as possible,” according to information from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Long An Province Police.

Previously, at around 6:00 a.m. on April 2, a fierce fire broke out at Quang Viet Company Limited in Tan Huong Industrial Park. Upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police of Tien Giang Province mobilized many specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire and assist in evacuating the company's assets; at the same time, contacted the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue Police of Long An Province for support.

According to initial information, the fire originated from the raw material warehouse of Quang Viet Company Limited. At the scene, thousands of carton boxes containing goods were urgently moved outside by workers, officers and soldiers to minimize damage.

The fire occurred at Quang Viet Company Limited in Tan Huong Industrial Park, located in Tan Huong commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province.

The fire area was identified as a common warehouse containing both raw materials for garment production and finished products. The fire broke out in the raw material area on the second floor of the company, while finished products on other floors had been partially moved out safely.
