Brigade 368 mobilized forces to respond to storm Kalmaegi in 2 communes of Binh An and Tay Son.

(GLO)- On the morning of November 6, implementing the direction of the Military Region 5 Command, Brigade 368 (stationed in An Khe ward) deployed forces and vehicles to Binh An and Tay Son communes to carry out the task of preventing and fighting storm No. 13.

This mission had the participation of 100 officers and soldiers of the unit, directly commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dieu - Deputy Brigade Commander and Chief of Staff of Brigade 368.

Before the maneuver, the brigade proactively developed a detailed plan, thoroughly reviewed and inspected preparations of human resources, vehicles, and logistics and technical materials. Officers and soldiers of the entire unit promoted a sense of responsibility, solidarity, and closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to proactively respond to the storm.

This morning, officers and soldiers were present in the two communes and deployed activities to help local people move their belongings to higher ground and evacuate people to safe storm shelters.

“Brigade 368 will do its best to protect the safety and support the people in this difficult time. In addition, the collective of officers and soldiers participating in flood and storm prevention are determined to complete their tasks well, ready to respond to all situations, contributing to the locality to minimize damage caused by storms” - Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Dieu affirmed.
