Previously, the islands of Brigade 146, Naval Region 4 proactively deployed response plans according to plan, organized tying, fixing, and safely covering all technical systems and structures on the island.
The islands closely coordinated with the Border Guard and the forces on the island to actively propagate, guide and support nearly 300 fishing boats with more than 3,400 fishermen to enter the harbor and the lake to safely avoid the storm. Thanks to the smooth coordination, scientific organization and proper technical guidance, all fishing boats were safely anchored, without collision, drift or damage.
During the storm, officers and soldiers on the islands promoted the spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers", wholeheartedly helping people stabilize their accommodation, ensuring fresh water, supporting food, medicine for nearly 500 fishermen, with a total of more than 218 m3 of fresh water, nearly 50 boxes of instant noodles, 200 kg of rice, 300 kg of vegetables and fruits, dozens of boxes of canned fish, canned meat, pork floss, fish sauce and many other necessities, contributing to helping people feel secure during the storm and maintain their health.
Thanks to early initiative, close coordination and proper implementation of technical procedures, the entire Truong Sa Special Zone has so far ensured absolute safety for people, vehicles and property, with no casualties or damage to fishing boats. Currently, the islands are urgently reviewing and consolidating structures, restoring normal activities, and continuing to support fishermen to go offshore.
