In recent days, officers and employees of Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited have proactively deployed solutions to respond to and prevent floods caused by the impact of storm No. 13.
Currently, many reservoirs have capacities exceeding normal water levels such as: Bien Ho B at 106%, Ha Ra Nam at 100%, Tan Son at 100%, Ia Rto at 100%... The remaining reservoirs have capacities according to single-reservoir and inter-reservoir operating procedures.

In particular, at Ia Ring Lake (Bo Ngoong Commune), the operation is being focused on ensuring the safety of the project. The company has coordinated with relevant departments and branches to develop a plan for operating the reservoir's water supply when the project encounters an incident. Currently, the project is operating stably, the upstream sinkhole has been temporarily repaired to avoid foreign water from flowing in, and the spillway is operating normally.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Ty - Chairman of Bo Ngoong Commune People's Committee - said: In response to forecasts about the impact of storm No. 13, in recent days, the Commune Civil Defense Command has regularly inspected response work in villages and hamlets in the area. In particular, at the Ia Ring reservoir project, the Commune People's Committee regularly coordinates with Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. to monitor water levels as well as management and operation work.
Currently, the commune has prepared forces according to the "4 on-site" motto to coordinate with functional forces to respond when incidents occur to minimize damage caused by natural disasters.

Along with Ia Ring Lake, Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. is also actively monitoring the water flow to Ayun Ha and Ia Mla reservoirs to respond promptly when incidents occur.

Mr. Vo Dinh Phuc - Director of Phu Thien Irrigation Branch (Gia Lai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited) shared: Currently, the water flow of Ayun Ha reservoir is within the allowable limit. Before the forecast of the professional agency about the impact of storm No. 13, from November 5 to now, 100% of the Branch staff have been on duty 24/24 hours, ready with plans to regulate and operate Ayun Ha reservoir in accordance with the Inter-reservoir Operation Procedure on the Ba River basin.
In addition, the unit also developed a plan to coordinate with the Subcommittee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue - Ayun Pa-Ia Pa Irrigation Branch to regulate water on the North Main Canal and the South Main Canal. At the same time, coordinate with local authorities to be ready to send notices and bulletins related to natural disasters to people in affected areas.
