On the morning of April 18, Brigade 957, Naval Region 4, in coordination with the People's Committee of Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City, organized the inauguration ceremony and handed over the gratitude house to the family of professional soldier Captain Truong Van Can (wounded soldier) - Battalion 5, Brigade 957. Attending were Lieutenant Colonel Tien Quang Su - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Brigade 957; leaders of the People's Committee of Phuoc Dong Commune.

The house was completed after more than 2 months of construction, with an area of over 100m2 , and a total cost of over 250 million VND. Of which, the Navy took 80 million VND from the "Gratitude Fund" to support; the Party Committee and Command of Brigade 957 supported 5 million VND; the rest was saved by the family, borrowed, and supported by relatives.
Captain Truong Van Can's family is in difficult circumstances, his wife does not have a stable job, and his children are still young. The old house was seriously degraded, the roof was leaking, the walls were cracked, making it unsafe, but the family did not have the means to repair or rebuild. Faced with such circumstances, the Party Committee and the Command of Brigade 957 completed the procedures to request the Command of Naval Region 4 and the Navy to support funding and build a house of gratitude for Captain Truong Van Can's family.

This is a practical activity of the Brigade towards the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025), demonstrating the affection and concern of Party committees and commanders at all levels in caring for the lives of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances.
