Hanoi Metro speaks out about the incident where the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station train suddenly stopped while running.

Hanoi Metro One Member Limited Liability Company (Hanoi Metro) has just informed about the incident of the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station Metro system suddenly stopping at 2:30 p.m. this afternoon (May 23).

Accordingly, Hanoi Metro promptly activated the operating and technical procedures and coordinated with relevant parties to handle the situation quickly, ensuring passenger safety.

Immediately after the incident occurred, the Branch of the Urban Railway Line 3 Operation Enterprise deployed handling plans according to procedures and at the same time notified the warranty contractor of the CP6 package to coordinate the remediation.

Technical staff of the company and relevant agencies quickly arrived at the scene, grasped the situation and directed the handling work.

During the repair period, the entire route will be temporarily suspended. Trains will stop at stations and passengers will be fully informed by radio to ensure their cooperation.

Train drivers are constantly updating the situation, stations are broadcasting regularly and providing instructions to passengers. Passengers who have purchased tickets but do not wish to continue their journey will be refunded according to regulations.

By 3:22 p.m. the same day, the power system problem had been completely resolved. The area from Le Duc Tho station to Cau Giay station was powered up again, and trains on the route resumed normal operation. The entire handling process was carried out according to one of the 57 previously developed incident scenarios.

According to the assessment of Hanoi Metro leaders, the handling process ensures absolute safety for passengers, operating staff and assets on the line. The technical operations also fully comply with the procedures carried out by the warranty contractor and the technical team.

"Currently, the Company is coordinating with the warranty contractor to assess the cause of the incident, thereby providing a thorough solution and preventing the risk of recurrence," said a leader of Hanoi Metro./.
