Provincial Red Cross Society provides livelihood support and builds houses for poor fishermen

Red Cross Society gives support to fishermen in Ngu Loc commune.

At the People's Committee of Ngu Loc commune (Hau Loc), the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded funding to support livelihood development for 5 fishing households in difficult circumstances, with a support level of 10 million VND/household; awarded funding to build a house worth 20 million VND to the household of Mr. To Van Khau, a fisherman in difficult housing circumstances in Ngu Loc commune.

Red Cross Society gives support to fishermen in Nga Tan commune.

At the People's Committee of Nga Tan Commune (Nga Son), the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded 10 poor and disadvantaged fishing households with 10 million VND each to support their livelihoods. At the same time, the Red Cross Association also awarded 20 million VND/household to support the construction of houses for the family of fisherman Nguyen Van Thuat, village 4 and fisherman Nguyen Van Son, village 8, Nga Tan Commune.

The total cost of the program is 210 million VND, supported by Mr. Nguyen Minh Trung. This is an activity under the program "Safety for poor fishermen" sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Minh Trung in Thanh Hoa province. The activity contributes to encouraging the fishermen's spirit, helping them to reduce difficulties in life, and continue to go out to sea.
