In Gia Lai, the Provincial Civil Defense Steering Committee received information via hotline 112: In Bai Xep area, Quy Nhon Dong ward, 9 people from two households, including young children, are isolated because their houses have had their roofs blown off and are at risk of collapsing.
From the Command Center located in Quy Nhon Ward, Colonel Nguyen Van Du, Deputy Commander of the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command, quickly connected the phone, instructed people to take shelter safely in the restroom area, and directed an armored vehicle crew to prepare to move when the weather permitted.
When the storm temporarily subsided, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Canh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, directly commanded the 1st Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, mobilizing armored vehicles to overcome many sections of road with fallen trees and flooded water. After only 30 minutes, the force reached the Bai Xep area, bringing all 9 people to a safe evacuation site.
At the evacuation area, the unit's medical staff examined and took good care of the people's health.
According to initial statistics from the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command, as of 11:30 p.m. the same day, storm No. 13 had damaged the roofs of about 500 houses and broken many trees, causing great property damage.

Also on the night of November 6, in Dak Lak province, Colonel Le Van Hung, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, directly commanded the mobile rescue force.

From 9:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the Civil Defense Command of Region 1 - Song Cau mobilized 1 ST450 canoe and more than 20 officers and soldiers to cross deep water and rescue 4 people from Mr. Tran Binh's family (Long Phuoc village, Xuan Tho commune) who were isolated in floodwaters. All family members were brought safely to the People's Committee of Xuan Tho commune.
Initial statistics from Dak Lak province show that storm No. 13 killed two people due to collapsed houses, damaged 20 houses, collapsed three houses, many trees fell and a low voltage tank exploded.
