The 500kV line 3 Quang Trach-Pho Noi project is in the final stages to complete in time to celebrate National Day September 2.
Implementing the direction of the Military Region 4 Command and Nghe An province, the Provincial Military Command mobilized hundreds of officers and soldiers to participate in supporting the construction of the 500kV line circuit 3 with the spirit of "overcoming the sun and rain" and "no matter how difficult it is, we must do it."
As one of the localities with a large number of electric poles passing through, the work of clearing the power grid corridor and leveling the ground in Nam Dan district still faces many difficulties.
During these days, together with contractors of the National Power Transmission Corporation, more than 600 officers, soldiers, regular troops, and militia focused on supporting land clearing, creating a safe corridor for the power grid, transporting electric cable rolls, materials, laying and pulling wires, leveling and restoring the land...
The officers and soldiers also actively propagated and mobilized people to respond and contribute to completing the proposed plan.
Major Nguyen Viet Anh, Assistant to the Militia of the Military Command of Nam Dan District - Nghe An , said that the construction of the 500kV power line circuit 3 through Nam Dan district is very difficult and isolated because it has to cross rivers, high and dangerous mountains and very hot weather.
However, the officers and soldiers tried their best to support the National Power Transmission Corporation to complete the final tasks so that the project could be completed in time for the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.
Colonel Tran Vo Viet, Deputy Commander of Nghe An Provincial Military Command, said that, implementing the direction of the Military Region 4 Command, Nghe An Provincial Military Command focused on leading and directing the forces, Military Commands of districts, cities as well as affiliated units, with the highest sense of responsibility to overcome all difficulties to complete the work contents according to plan.
Mr. Pham Xuan Viet, Deputy Head of the 500 kV Circuit 3 Project Management Board - Central Power Project Management Board said that the working atmosphere on the entire line is currently being pushed very high by the unit.
However, in some locations due to complex terrain, the unit could not deploy wire pulling by technological machines and had to use human power. Fortunately, the unit had enthusiastic support and assistance from officers and soldiers of Nghe An province's armed forces. In some sections of the route that needed land clearance, the army also reached the scene very quickly.
The 500kV line project, circuit 3, through Nghe An province has a total length of 99.99 km with 202 column foundation locations and 88 anchorages. Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Deputy General Director of Song Da 11 Joint Stock Company (the project contractor) said that to ensure progress, the unit has mobilized about 700 officers and workers to focus on the final construction tasks on the entire line such as: pulling wires, leveling and restoring the ground, creating a power grid corridor, etc.
It is known that currently, 3/4 component projects of the 500kV line project circuit 3 including Nam Dinh 1-Thanh Hoa Thermal Power Plant, Quynh Luu-Thanh Hoa, Nam Dinh 1-Pho Noi Thermal Power Plant have completed energization.
The remaining component project, the 500kV Quang Trach-Quynh Luu line, is being constructed by units with great efforts to complete before August 25 as directed by the Prime Minister.
