(CPV) - According to Decision No. 7823/QD-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , some enterprises will be allowed to postpone the payment of trade union fees until December 31, 2023.
Accordingly, businesses experiencing order cuts or reductions, and businesses with a reduction of 50% or more of their workforce participating in social insurance compared to January 1, 2023 (including employees who have stopped working, temporarily suspended their employment contracts, or agreed to take unpaid leave), are allowed to postpone paying trade union fees until December 31, 2023.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor assigns the Standing Committees of the Provincial and City Labor Federations; the Central and equivalent industry trade unions; and the trade unions of corporations directly under the General Confederation of Labor to consider, determine, and be responsible for deciding whether businesses experiencing order cuts or reductions are allowed to postpone the payment of trade union fees until December 31, 2023.
