Vietnam Stock Exchange warns of impersonation fraud, calls for participation in stock investment classes

The Vietnam Stock Exchange affirms that, up to now, this agency, together with the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and the Hanoi Stock Exchange, have not invited participants to participate in any training programs or securities investment groups. The Department recommends that investors be cautious and carefully research invitations to participate in securities investment to avoid being scammed in securities trading activities.

Previously, the State Securities Commission also issued warnings many times about the impersonation of this agency. Similarly, a series of securities companies recently such as KIS Vietnam Securities Company, Vietcap... have also warned about the situation of some websites and social media accounts impersonating the official information pages of companies by using similar domain names, along with logos, information, and images to attract investors and create confusion. Securities companies all recommend that investors do not transfer money to personal accounts or sign information contracts with unknown entities. The State Securities Commission recommends that people raise their vigilance when receiving phone calls from strangers; be careful and consider avoiding being lured into participating in applications, forums, and groups on cyberspace with the purpose of investing in securities.
