'Mom, do you know' by Nguyen Van Chung helps autistic children learn to speak

Musician Nguyen Van Chung accompanies the project "Traveling Around the World with My Children" as a music ambassador. The song "Mother's Diary " (a hit by Nguyen Van Chung) was chosen as the theme song.

Use music to soothe pain

On June 26, Traveling Around the World with My Children marked 10 years of operation, the same amount of time musician Nguyen Van Chung has been involved.

“Chung feels happy that his works have spiritual value for everyone, especially those in special circumstances, autistic children and mothers with autistic children.

Chung hopes that his music will spread meaningful things to everyone, helping "With my children traveling around the world" become known to many people, and for sponsors to join hands," Nguyen Van Chung shared with Tuoi Tre Online .

Ms. Truong Ngoc Minh Dang - founder of the project Traveling around the world with children - told Tuoi Tre Online :

“Autistic children have many problems with pronunciation. In the past two years, I have used children’s songs by musician Nguyen Van Chung for them to listen to. In the song “Mother, do you know?” , the children grasp the melody very well. From there, they learn to pronounce difficult words such as: know, love…”.

In addition, she also uses the song Mother's Diary to help mothers with autistic children cry, helping to relieve stress and pressure.

In recent years, Traveling Around the World with Children has focused on developingeducation with the Road to Global Citizen campaign - Journey to become a global citizen with the goal of improving English communication skills for secondary school students in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Minh Dang said that so far the campaign has visited 13 schools, reached more than 20,000 students, and awarded scholarships to 3,663 students.

During the past term, the project continued to support activities for families with autistic children; organized fundraising activities to support 58 initial examination and diagnosis visits at Children's Hospital 1, worth 2 million VND/visit; and awarded 10 career scholarships worth 42 million VND.

Many activities to accompany autistic children

According to the organizers, in the 2025 - 2026 term, Traveling the World with Children will focus on the following main activities:

Continue the Road to Global Citizen activities - Journey to become a global citizen ; implement the Young Knowledge project with the Dream Bookcase campaign, donating bookcases to schools in mountainous and border areas; the project to protect the marine environment and develop a sustainable green economy Blue Sea - Healthy Economy with the support of Miss Sea and Island Dinh Nhu Phuong.

The Dusty Yellow Brick Project aims to preserve historical relics from a photographic perspective; the Color Project - honoring the identity of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups, thereby preserving cultural identity with the accompaniment of Miss Vietnam of Ethnic Groups Nong Thuy Hang; establishing a nationwide network to support screening, medical intervention and education for autistic children...

Miss Sea and Island Dinh Nhu Phuong said this is the third year she has accompanied the project "Traveling the world with my children" .

“This year, Phuong participated in an environmental protection project, going to coastal provinces to participate in activities of giving gifts and books to children in coastal areas, and environmental protection activities,” Dinh Nhu Phuong shared with Tuoi Tre Online .
