Inspiration for the human journey
The inspiration for the program comes from the story of Dr. Takahiro - Director of the Tokyo Stem Cell Research Institute (TSRI, Japan). He grew up with his autistic brother, who always had difficulty expressing emotions, communicating and integrating with friends.
Since childhood, Dr. Takahiro has witnessed the distant looks of society, the helpless moments of his parents and the deprivation of his brother. The question "How can we give children like him a better chance at life?" followed him throughout his youth, becoming the motivation for him to embark on the path of stem cell research - a medical field that helps restore and regenerate nerve cells, supporting the improvement of behavior and communication skills in autistic children.
"I always wish that one day, children like my brother can say what they want, feel joy and be accepted by society like everyone else," Dr. Takahiro shared.

Small journeys inspire great missions
In Vietnam, Mirai Care Vietnam is a pioneer in supporting families with autistic children to access stem cell treatment in Japan. Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien - General Director of Mirai Care Vietnam, has listened to and sympathized with countless such stories. He has witnessed the changes in children who are lucky enough to have the opportunity to go to Japan for stem cell treatment.
However, that joy always comes with a lingering feeling. Mr. Tien shared: "Most of the families who come into contact with the service are people with good economic conditions. But I know that out there are many less fortunate children, many families are struggling every day without daring to dream of a better treatment opportunity for their children. That concern urges us to do something more meaningful for the community."
From those touching little stories, the idea of the charity program "Writing a new journey with autistic children" born
