According to historical documents, in 1428, Le Loi ascended the throne as emperor (Le Thai To), established the Later Le dynasty, established the capital in Thang Long (Dong Kinh), opening a new period of development for the Dai Viet nation.
In 1430, Le Thai To changed the name of Lam Son - his hometown - to Lam Kinh (also known as Tay Kinh). After that, architectural works such as the main hall, the Thai Mieu, the dragon yard, Ngo Mon, Bach bridge... were built in Lam Kinh.
Coming to Lam Kinh National Special Relic Site today, visitors can visit unique and massive architectural works such as Ngo Mon Gate, Dragon Courtyard, Main Hall, Thai Temple... restored by Thanh Hoa Province over many years.
