
Vietnam's Ministry of Finance and JP Morgan have just signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of international finance.
On the afternoon of October 28, in the UK, within the framework of the official visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang had a working session with Mr. Karl Yeh, Executive Director in charge of public and government institutional clients in the Asia- Pacific region of JP Morgan Bank.

Overview of the working session between the Ministry of Finance and JP Morgan
At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Van Thang highly appreciated the prestige and position of JP Morgan in the international financial market, and acknowledged the bank's contributions in advising the Vietnamese Government on international capital mobilization, as well as supporting Vietnamese enterprises in the process of equitization and financial restructuring.
On JP Morgan's side, Mr. Karl Yeh thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance for its cooperation and affirmed that the bank will continue to share its experience and expertise to support Vietnam in its strategy of developing international capital and financial markets.
On this occasion, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of international finance.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides agreed on two contents.
First, work together to promote the Vietnamese Government's ability to access and mobilize international capital sources;
Second, organize activities to contact international investors to enhance dialogue and promote Vietnam's image in the global financial market.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with JP Morgan demonstrates Vietnam's commitment to expanding international financial cooperation, enhancing sustainable public debt management capacity and consolidating Vietnam's position in the global financial market.
