Latest case of male parent assaulting two primary school teachers: Police involved

TPO - After drinking alcohol, Ha Van Thuy could not control himself and rushed into the school to assault two teachers at Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School (Quynh Luu, Nghe An).

On April 30, Mr. Le Anh Nga - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thang Commune (Quynh Luu District, Nghe An ) said that the police had detained Ha Van Thuy (40 years old, Thai ethnic group, residing in Tan Thang Commune) to investigate the incident of breaking into a school and attacking two teachers that occurred 2 days earlier.

Ha Van Thuy grabbed Ms. N.'s hair, forced her to stand in the rain and then assaulted her.

Specifically, at around 4:30 p.m. on April 28, after school hours, the weather was heavy, so some teachers and students stayed at school waiting for their parents to pick them up. At this time, Ha Van Thuy (40 years old) came to school to pick up her child and suddenly attacked teacher Luc Xuan H. Not stopping there, Thuy also grabbed the hair, slapped Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim N. in the face, and forced her to stand in the rain to continue the assault. When the incident was discovered, people around came to stop her, but Thuy still refused to stop.

According to the Chairman of Tan Thang Commune People's Committee, initial investigation showed that Ha Van Thuy had been drinking alcohol before, so he could not control himself and attacked the teachers. There was no previous conflict between Ha Van Thuy and the teachers.

Some people came to stop her but Thuy refused to stop.

“After the incident, Ms. N. suffered bruises on her cheek, but Mr. H. was not injured. The police are continuing to investigate to strictly handle this case,” said Mr. Le Anh Nga.
