Dear readers, welcome to read Long An Publication August 2024

Exactly 79 years ago, in August 1945, seizing the historic opportunity, our Party led the entire people to rise up and break the chains of the feudal colonial regime and regain independence for the nation. From that great revolution, on September 2, 1945, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam was born, freeing our people from the chains of slavery of feudal colonialism to become masters of the country and masters of their own destiny.

Inheriting and promoting those historical values, the significance of victories, and lessons learned are important foundations for our entire Party, people, and army to seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and soon realize the goals identified by the 13th National Party Congress: “Promoting the will and strength of great national unity combined with the strength of the times; comprehensively and synchronously promoting the cause of innovation, industrialization, and modernization; firmly building and defending the Fatherland, maintaining a peaceful and stable environment; striving to make our country a developed country with a socialist orientation by the middle of the 21st century.”

Long An August 2024 publication is fully presented, vividly and attractively

Speaking about the great stature and significance of the August Revolution, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: “Not only can the Vietnamese working class and working people be proud, but the working class and oppressed peoples elsewhere can also be proud that: This is the first time in the revolutionary history of colonial and semi-colonial peoples that a Party only 15 years old has successfully led the revolution and taken power nationwide.”

The Long An August 2024 publication will contribute to vividly portraying unforgettable memories of one of the most glorious, brilliant, and heroic pages of history in the process of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people in general and Long An province in particular. From there, each Vietnamese citizen will further promote the spirit of national pride, affirming the determination in the cause of protecting and building the country in the new period, for the goal of "rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization".
