Hope the Ministry of Education and Training will soon issue regulations on university admissions in 2026

(NLDO) - Innovation in enrollment in 2026 and the following years is a requirement when the 2025 enrollment period has had many fluctuations.

At 2:00 p.m. on September 26, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper organized an online talk show: "Innovation in University and College Admissions in 2026" with the participation of experts and representatives from universities.

Speakers and experts participating in the program include:

- Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh, Director of the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment (VNU-HCM City);

-Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thuy, Head of Admissions and Communications Department - Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City;

- MSc. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Head of Communications Department - International University (VNU-HCM);

- MSc. Duong Thi Kim Phuong, Director of Admissions Consulting Center - Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport.

At the talkshow, experts will analyze and evaluate the results and shortcomings of the 2025 university entrance exam and discuss innovative solutions for the 2026 university entrance exam and the following years, aiming for a more transparent, effective and fair admission system.

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training held the 2025 University Education Conference to review the results of the past year and determine tasks for the coming year.

At this conference, the Ministry of Education and Training distributed survey forms for the 2026 university entrance exam to more than 200 universities. In particular, with the admission method based on high school transcripts, the Ministry of Education and Training proposed two options: either to abolish or continue to implement.

In the survey, the Ministry of Education and Training also asked for opinions on the number of wishes for each candidate. The Ministry proposed 3 options for schools to comment on: Maximum 5, 10 wishes or continue with no limit on the number of wishes.
