Building open educational resources is a key task in the digital transformation roadmap of Thai Nguyen University, aiming to improve the quality of training and research and strengthen academic connections.

Under the direction of Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Van Hung, member schools and affiliated units coordinate to build digital infrastructure, compile and evaluate electronic learning materials according to academic standards, and encourage lecturers to participate.

Open educational resource warehouse, connecting inter-school knowledge

Currently, Thai Nguyen University has completed phase 1 of the open educational resource database with a free online access portal at: https://ebook365.vn/publisher/detail/nxb-dai-hoc-thai-nguyen-206.html. The learning materials system includes: Textbooks, reference materials, monographs, research documents, science and technology journals, where publications and science and technology products are published,... compiled and contributed by a team of lecturers, experts, and researchers throughout Thai Nguyen University.

This database serves students, lecturers of Thai Nguyen University and the entire educational community, becoming a common knowledge forum, promoting inter-school and inter-disciplinary cooperation nationwide.

The implementation of the Open Educational Resources program aims at many benefits: Expanding access to knowledge for learners, promoting lifelong learning; Reducing learning costs, contributing to ensuring equity in education; Encouraging innovation in teaching methods, promoting the creativity of lecturers and students; Strengthening inter-school academic cooperation, sharing resources and experiences between units and scientific organizations.

In the 2026-2030 period, Thai Nguyen University aims to expand the scale of open resource warehouses, diversify digital content, and strengthen connections with other higher education institutions, research institutes, and technology enterprises to build a comprehensive open knowledge ecosystem.
