In 2024, Dong Giang District Party Committee focuses on improving the quality of activities of grassroots party organizations. The Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work is carried out in accordance with principles and regulations.

The District Party Committee led and directed the grassroots party congresses and prepared for the 20th District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030) on schedule and according to the set plan. During the year, the district admitted 97 new party members, reaching 102.1% of the plan assigned by the province.

In the economic field, the total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is estimated at 374.2 billion VND, reaching 103.24% of the plan, up 7.69% compared to 2023. The total output of grain is estimated at 6,314 tons, up 1.6% compared to 2023.

In 2024, 4 products will be recognized as OCOP products by the province, bringing the district's OCOP products to 27 products. Total budget revenue is estimated at more than 1,327 billion VND, reaching 221.36% of the plan.

Regarding new rural construction, the average achievement is 13.1 criteria/commune, an increase of 2.4 criteria compared to the previous year; 2 communes maintain the new rural commune standards. The district has completed supporting residential arrangement according to Resolution No. 23 dated July 22, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council for 62/72 households, the disbursement rate reached 100% of the plan. The district has also eliminated 571/563 temporary and dilapidated houses, reaching 101.4%.

The district's poverty rate is 30.49%, down 6.97% compared to 2023. Average income per capita reaches 42 million VND.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Dong Giang District Party Committee commended 8 grassroots party organizations that excellently completed their tasks in 2024 and 12 party members who excellently completed their tasks for 5 consecutive years (2020 - 2024).
