In the last years of his life, he was cared for by his wife, who also suffered from mild paralysis.

The difficult life of Ngo Bac Quan and his wife:
Ngo Bac Quan's funeral took place privately on July 14, according to the Youyadong charity organization - the unit that had repeatedly called for donations to help him overcome economic difficulties. They said: "Before he passed away, he said he did not want to bother anyone. Now everything has been arranged, thank you for the love and help that everyone gave him."
Previously, many artists such as Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse... had quietly provided financial support to help Ngo Bac Quan cover his hospital bills. He was moved to tears when receiving gifts and words of encouragement via video from the donors.
