Hai Phong Tourism Association improves organization

The new Hai Phong Tourism Association was established on the basis of merging the Tourism Association of Hai Duong province and the old Hai Phong city.

Comrade Tran Van Ngoc, Deputy Director of the City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, spoke at the Executive Board meeting of the Hai Phong Tourism Association.

On the afternoon of October 28, the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong City Tourism Association held a conference to improve the organization and deploy activities for the last months of 2025.

The conference approved the Project to merge the Hai Duong Province Tourism Association (old) and the Hai Phong City Tourism Association (old) into the Hai Phong City Tourism Association. The association's headquarters is located at 35 Tran Khanh Du Street, Ngo Quyen Ward; the western office is located at 75 Bach Dang Street, Hai Duong Ward.

Mr. Mai Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Hai Phong City Tourism Association (former) is the Chairman of the association. Mr. Nguyen Minh Xo, Chairman of the Hai Duong Province Tourism Association (former) is the Permanent Vice Chairman of the association.

The Executive Board of Hai Phong Tourism Association agreed to complete the project dossier for merging the two associations and submit it to the City People's Committee for consideration and decision. At the same time, the organization will draft the association's operating charter to submit to the upcoming Hai Phong City Tourism Association Congress.

Also at the conference, the Executive Board of the Hai Phong City Tourism Association approved a number of key activities of the association at the end of 2025. These include developing a program to promote Con Son - Kiep Bac tourism; organizing a conference to promote Hai Phong tourism destinations in 2025 at Do Son tourist area in November with the participation of many localities and large tourism businesses nationwide; coordinating with relevant departments, branches and universities to organize a national workshop on developing green and sustainable tourism in December...
