On the afternoon of October 28th, the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong City Tourism Association held a conference to reorganize its structure and plan activities for the remaining months of 2025.
The conference approved the plan to merge the former Hai Duong Provincial Tourism Association and the former Hai Phong City Tourism Association into the Hai Phong City Tourism Association. The association's headquarters will be located at 35 Tran Khanh Du Street, Ngo Quyen Ward; the western office will be located at 75 Bach Dang Street, Hai Duong Ward.
Mr. Mai Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Hai Phong City (formerly) Tourism Association, serves as the Chairman of the association. Mr. Nguyen Minh Xo, Chairman of the Hai Duong Province (formerly) Tourism Association, serves as the Standing Vice Chairman of the association.
The Executive Committee of the Hai Phong Tourism Association unanimously agreed to finalize the dossier for the merger of the two associations and submit it to the City People's Committee for consideration and decision. At the same time, they will organize the drafting of the association's organizational and operational regulations to be presented at the upcoming Hai Phong City Tourism Association Congress.
Also at the conference, the Executive Committee of the Hai Phong City Tourism Association approved several key activities for the end of 2025. These include developing a tourism promotion program for Con Son - Kiet Bac; organizing a conference to promote Hai Phong tourism destinations in 2025 at the Do Son tourist area in November with the participation of many localities and major tourism businesses nationwide; and coordinating with relevant departments, agencies, and universities to organize a national workshop on green and sustainable tourism development in December…
