Nam Dong Ha: Phone exploded and burned many properties of a family

QTO - On the afternoon of October 24, Ms. Le Thi Anh Dao, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dong Ha Ward, Quang Tri Province, said that a fire had just occurred in the area due to a phone exploding while charging.

According to Mr. Nguyen Phuong Hao (born in 1982, residing in Quarter 2, Nam Dong Ha Ward), at around 11:18 a.m. on October 24, his son Nguyen Phuong Ha (born in 2009, living with the family) was charging his phone in the mezzanine area when the phone exploded, causing a fire and black smoke to engulf the house. At that time, Ha was cooking on the ground floor.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team No. 1 of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Tri Provincial Police quickly mobilized forces and vehicles to the scene. After about 15 minutes, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished.

However, the fire caused a lot of property damage and Ha suffocated while moving some items out of the fire.

Upon receiving the information, the leaders of Nam Dong Ha ward promptly visited, encouraged, shared difficulties and gave 5 million VND in support to help Mr. Hao's family overcome the consequences of the fire and soon stabilize their lives.
