The company invested in and put into operation a series of new generation small garbage compactors that are suitable for practicality, urban traffic conditions and reduce environmental impact. When the city put into operation two modern garbage transfer stations in Son Tra area and Le Thanh Nghi street (Hai Chau district), the company quickly applied a new production plan according to the roadmap to increase the capacity of the two stations, improve the production process, and increase the mechanization of household waste collection in localities to improve work efficiency as well as the quality of urban environmental sanitation. Notably, many large garbage collection points brought by workers were eliminated because small motor vehicles directly collected garbage; garbage collection time was shortened, minimizing the time for garbage to wait for the vehicle; the labor intensity of workers was also reduced...

Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, a worker at Son Tra Environmental Enterprise (Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company) commented: "Compared to the previous method of collecting household waste by three-wheeled vehicles, the current mechanized operation of collecting waste by new generation small garbage compactors and transporting it to the Son Tra area garbage transfer station is convenient, fast and less laborious."

Mr. Nguyen Binh Nam, a worker at the Transport Enterprise (Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company) said: "The application of mechanized garbage collection in sync with the operation process of modern garbage transfer stations creates conditions for workers and drivers to collect garbage on the roads cleanly and quickly."

According to the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, currently the rate of garbage collected directly by motor vehicles in districts and counties reaches 80-90%. In the alleys, lanes and small roads where motor vehicles cannot enter, workers use three-wheeled vehicles to carry the bins for collection. Most urban roads are directly collected by specialized motor vehicles, not only increasing work efficiency but also improving and enhancing the quality of urban environmental sanitation.

Deputy General Director of Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company Hoang Thi Ngoc Hieu said: “In recent times, especially from 2020 to present, the company has invested in more than 30 new motor vehicles to implement the mechanized waste collection and urban sanitation plan. Along with the city's investment in modern waste transfer stations, the company has implemented a mechanized waste collection and urban sanitation plan suitable for current and future urban traffic as well as the city's increasing requirements for environmental sanitation work".

The 2024 report has just been announced by Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company. In the context of the increasingly popular green living trend in the residential community and the higher demand for urban environmental sanitation services, the company has proactively invested in additional vehicles to serve environmental sanitation work, such as: investing in purchasing 4 garbage compactors with a capacity of 7m³ (3 tons) with a pair of bins and lids to serve the mechanized waste collection work in Ngu Hanh Son and Cam Le districts; investing in many 240 liter and 660 liter trash cans...

At the same time, continue to expand and upgrade the hazardous waste treatment area in Khanh Son to improve waste treatment capacity in the long term. In 2024, the company's total net revenue will reach VND 270,994 billion, an increase of more than VND 12 billion (4.66%) compared to 2023, contributing to raising pre-tax accounting profit to VND 7,894 billion, an increase of 14.91% (more than VND 1 billion) and after-tax profit to VND 6,781 billion, an increase of 18.57%. These indicators reflect the company's financial, production and business performance that is being significantly improved.

The company aims to continue to maintain stable revenue and profit and to grow in the coming years. In addition, it will promote investment in technology to promote work efficiency in the field of treatment and recycling of toxic and non-toxic waste. In 2025, Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company will continue to strive to achieve and exceed the target of total revenue of VND 274,625 billion, pre-tax profit of VND 8,222 billion and after-tax profit of VND 7,236 billion. At the same time, continue to promote comprehensive innovation; focus on promoting the application of mechanization in production and business activities to improve operational efficiency. Along with that, prioritize investment in replacing outdated equipment and technology with modern solutions and technologies that are suitable for practical requirements as well as development trends.
