Mr. Lo Van Ung, Party cell secretary, Head of Binh Minh sub-area, informed: The sub-area has nearly 20 hectares of various vegetables. On average, it supplies about 2,000 tons each year, the economic value on the cultivated area reaches nearly 1 billion VND/ha, contributing to raising the average income per capita to 55 million VND/person/year.

With an area of ​​nearly 3.5 hectares of vegetable land, the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Bao, Binh Minh sub-area, earns over 2.5 billion VND/year. Mr. Bao shared: The family divides the area to grow each type of vegetable, each season has its own type, such as: green squash, cucumber, potato... The family also invested in a drip irrigation system controlled by smartphone and applied advanced farming techniques; using organic fertilizers, biological products that do not affect the environment, preventing pests according to the "4 rights" principle to create quality, safe products, so the products are consumed as soon as they are made and always have a stable selling price.

At Mr. Van Dinh Chung's family vegetable garden in Binh Minh sub-district, the automatic irrigation system has greatly reduced the care work compared to before. Mr. Chung shared: Now, only one person needs to press the phone to control the irrigation system within 15 minutes to water the entire area of ​​more than 1.1 hectares of vegetables. The products are beautiful in appearance and of good quality; we also actively sell, introduce and promote the products on social networks, so many people know and come to the garden to buy. The family's vegetable output reaches more than 200 tons/year, with an income of nearly 1.5 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Thu, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said: Currently, Co Noi Commune has more than 600 hectares of various vegetables, mainly green squash, cucumber, green mustard greens, tomatoes, cabbage, beans, cauliflower, and herbs. The total vegetable output of the commune reaches nearly 50,000 tons/year. Every year, the commune propagates and guides people to proactively ensure materials, sow according to the crop calendar, select appropriate varieties and seed structures, with productivity and quality, suitable to the local climate and soil conditions. Coordinate with specialized units, departments and offices of the district to organize training and transfer of techniques to farmers, apply high technology, and produce according to VietGAP standards. At the same time, encourage people to join together to establish cooperatives, produce in the direction of green and sustainable agriculture . Actively and proactively link up to consume vegetables in and outside the province.
