Russian troops approach Ukrainian fortress from 3 directions

The Russian army is developing an offensive in the direction of the south of Ugledar. Russian attacks continue to be carried out on a wide front.

Almost the entire road between Pavlovka and Krasnogorovka is under complete Russian control, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces are controlling Ugledar in preparation for the upcoming Russian siege and attack.

Russian troops are rapidly expanding their zone of control around Vodyanoe. They have recently entered the fields north of the town, and have also advanced west and southwest of Konstantinovka, encircling Ukrainian positions in the local ravine.

South of Vodyanoe, Russian troops have taken control of the South Donbass Field No. 1, located near the road to Ugledar. Russian forces have also launched an attack on the South Donbass Field No. 3.

The situation in the Ugledar direction is extremely tense.

Footage from the battlefield shows the South Donbass Mine No. 3 facilities exploding. The area around the mine was mined by retreating Ukrainian forces. The mines were later destroyed to facilitate the Russian offensive.

After a series of successful attacks, Russian troops approached the Ukrainian fortress of Ugledar from the south, east and north.

On the southern front, the Russian army has achieved victories on the fronts along the Pavlovka-Prechistovka road and is completing the "clean-up" operation in Prechistovka.

Russia destroys Ukraine's М270 multiple launch rocket system

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Monday that a Russian missile destroyed a multiple launch rocket system deployed by Ukraine near the border in the Kursk region. The precise strike destroyed the Ukrainian system to pieces.

According to the statement, Russian reconnaissance forces detected a Kiev-operated M270 multiple launch rocket system on the move and tracked it to a location south of Novy Put, a forested area on the Russian side of the border. After determining the location, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack.

The Russian Defense Ministry has released a video of the attack.

The Russian military claimed that in addition to the missile launcher, they also destroyed about 20 missiles compatible with the US system, a convoy and about 10 Ukrainian soldiers.

Last month, Kiev sent thousands of troops across the border and seized parts of the Kursk region but did not advance further into Russian territory. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the incursion was part of his “victory plan”.

Since last week, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported on the liberation of villages in the Kursk region formerly under Kiev's control.

As of Monday, Russia estimated Ukraine's military losses in the offensive at more than 13,800 troops.
