See the most beautiful photos called "Shining Vietnam"

Outstanding photos of the 2022 Tourism Promotion and Advertising Photo Contest with the theme "Shining Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam" have just been introduced in Hanoi, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2023) and towards the celebration of National Day September 2.

Launched from December 21, 2022 to June 5, 2023, the 2022 Tourism Promotion and Advertising Photo Contest with the theme "Shining Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam" received the attention and contributions of photography artists and photography enthusiasts for tourism promotion.

After nearly 6 months of launching, the Organizing Committee received 13,279 works from 1,032 authors from 63 provinces/cities nationwide to participate in the contest.

Through the lens of tourism, the contest photos conveyed clear messages, providing new and unique perspectives.

The photos vividly depict the beauty of the country, life and people of Vietnam today; images of tourists exploring and experiencing tourism products and services, immersing themselves in the lives of local people at tourist destinations and tourist accommodation facilities across the country...

The contest has sought out outstanding photographic works with high communication value, contributing to the propaganda and promotion of Vietnamese culture and images of the country and people to domestic and international tourists; strengthening the photo archive serving the activities of promoting and advertising Vietnamese tourism; at the same time, encouraging artists and the public to participate in creating and publishing photographic works on tourism activities, contributing to raising public awareness of the role of tourism, attracting international tourists to Vietnam and promoting domestic tourism activities.

This is also an opportunity for tourism units, organizations and businesses to exchange, connect, promote their images and brands through sponsorship and support of the Organizing Committee of the contest; accelerate recovery, accelerate effective and sustainable tourism development in the spirit of Resolution 82/NQ-CP of the Government, contributing to making tourism a spearhead economic sector according to Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

The 2022 Tourism Promotion Photo Contest with the theme "Shining Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam" was held online at the website www.anhnghethuatdulich.com and created many interactive activities with the community and tourists.

After a period of serious and fair work, the Jury unanimously selected 11 winning works, including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes, 3 Third prizes, and 5 Encouragement prizes.

In addition, the Contest has found 1 work with the most LIKES and hearts, 1 work with the most SHARES through the evaluation and selection of professional and amateur photographers, readers as well as photography enthusiasts on the Travel Magazine fanpage.

Speaking at the award ceremony and exhibition on August 25, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Chairman of the Jury Council Nguyen Trung Khanh, affirmed: "The Jury Council assessed that most of the entries this time are of good quality, closely following the theme of tourism with many rich and diverse topics, many new perspectives, rich in creativity and artistry; which is the basis for forming a photo data system serving the promotion and promotion of Vietnam's tourism industry."

Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee Pham Van Thuy, also said that the Contest is an activity that has been maintained for many years, achieved positive results, and contributed significantly to the promotion of Vietnam tourism.

Through the contests, the Organizing Committee has selected photos with artistic quality, creating good effects to contribute to promoting the recovery and growth of Vietnamese tourism.
