Tax sector deploys new organizational model

The new organizational structure of the tax authority includes 34 provincial and municipal taxes and 350 basic taxes in line with the two-level local government organizational model.

On July 1, the Tax Department held an online conference to announce decisions on the organization and staff of the Tax Department ( Ministry of Finance ), in order to deploy the new organizational model of the Tax sector.

Accordingly, the new organizational structure of the tax authority includes 34 provincial and municipal taxes; 350 basic taxes in sync with the two-level local government organizational model.

To organize the new apparatus in a synchronous manner according to the two-level local government organization model to operate smoothly, effectively and efficiently from July 1, the departments and units under the Tax Department focus on implementing 7 key groups of solutions.

In which, immediately get to work, approach the area, advise provincial and city authorities, coordinate with local authorities, and successfully complete tax management tasks in the area.

Based on the tasks, scale, number of taxpayers, management area; conditions of headquarters, facilities, equipment, proactively organize, arrange, and reorganize staff rooms; business management and support rooms; and appropriate inspection rooms at existing headquarters and working locations in the initial stage of arrangement, ensuring that tax management and administrative procedure settlement of people and businesses are not interrupted.

In particular, arrange for officers and civil servants to be on duty 24/7 to promptly receive, answer, and support taxpayers' difficulties, problems, reflections, and recommendations during the transition period.

Focus on serving people and businesses, substantially transforming from a management state to serving and supporting taxpayers; continue to review and promote administrative procedure reform, cut unnecessary procedures, simplify processes, provide administrative procedures in the electronic environment, and complete the goal of 100% of administrative procedures regardless of administrative boundaries.
