On August 4, in Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La district, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils Prevention and Building the Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security of Ngoc Chien commune organized the "Festival of the Whole People Participating in Protecting National Security in 2023". This is the locality chosen by the Ministry of Public Security to organize the model Festival.
Attending the festival were comrades: Nguyen Huu Dung, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Colonel Tran Quy Truong, Deputy Director of the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security, Ministry of Public Security; Trang Thi Xuan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Hong Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee; member of the Provincial Steering Committee 138; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Tram Tau and Mu Cang Chai districts (Yen Bai province), Than Uyen district ( Lai Chau province).
In recent years, Ngoc Chien commune has promoted the implementation of the movement "All people protect national security" with many good models and creative ways. It has maintained the activities of 157 "Self-managed inter-family" groups on security and order, 15 people's security teams, 16 mediation teams, 16 fire prevention and rescue teams and 1 self-managed inter-family fire prevention and rescue team. Since the beginning of the year, the self-managed inter-family group on security and order has participated ineducating and helping 38 people who have completed their prison sentences to reintegrate into the community; the groups have provided the commune police with nearly 100 valuable pieces of information on security and order, helping the police force to promptly prevent and handle violations of the law right at the grassroots level. Ngoc Chien is no longer a hot spot for drugs.
Speaking at the festival, comrade Nguyen Huu Dung, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements in the movement "All people protect national security" of the Party Committee, the people's government of the province, Muong La district and Ngoc Chien commune in the past year. He requested that Party committees and authorities from the province to the grassroots level strengthen their leadership in the work of protecting national security and order and building the movement "All people protect national security". Study and innovate the content, form and measures of movement building work in conjunction with the programs and goals of economic, cultural and social development of the province and the region. The Fatherland Front at all levels and socio-political organizations strengthen propaganda and mobilize union members, members and people to actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security". Maintain, build, expand and commend and reward advanced models and typical examples in the movement "All people protect national security"...
At the Festival, Comrade Trang Thi Xuan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee launched the emulation movement "All people protect national security" in 2023. Requesting all levels, sectors, agencies, units, cadres, party members, people and enterprises in the province to raise awareness and sense of responsibility in building the movement. Close, synchronous and effective coordination between specialized forces working on building the movement with departments, sectors and organizations at all levels in participating in protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety. Promoting the role of prestigious people in the community to participate in protecting security and order and mobilizing people to participate in the movement...
On this occasion, comrade Nguyen Huu Dung presented gifts to 10 policy families in the commune; the Director of the Provincial Police Department and the People's Committee of Muong La district presented certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 8 individuals with achievements in the movement "All people protect national security" in 2023.
Also during the program, delegates visited and presented gifts to 2 families of war invalids and prestigious people in Muong Chien village.
