Speaking to businesses in the province, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee - promised to take note of suggestions and comments and resolve them with the spirit of telling the truth, doing the truth and achieving real results.
According to Mr. Dung, Gia Lai province after the merger has great development potential, connecting forests and seas, fertile land, with full potential and advantages to develop into a new growth pole of the South Central - Central Highlands region and the whole country.
But the new province also faces many challenges due to its large area, low starting point, and economic scale only in the middle group of the country. It does not have leading enterprises to act as the driving force for development.
Currently, Gia Lai has 17,500 enterprises, contributing over 80% of the province's GRDP, but most of them are small and micro enterprises. The land resources are rich but there are few key agricultural products, and there are no world-famous brands.
Get to the bottom of the problem
In front of the business community, the Gia Lai Provincial Party Secretary promised to listen to all suggestions and recommendations to find a development direction for the locality. At the same time, he pledged to promote administrative procedure reform, build a government that serves the people and businesses; operate openly and transparently, ensuring that all businesses have equal access to the province's development support policies; and remove difficulties for businesses with practical actions, going to the bottom of the problem.
Along with that, we commit to focus on investing in infrastructure and traffic routes of industrial parks.

The government will focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, and unblocking resources for production and business. Absolutely do not cause harassment, inconvenience, or hinder business activities because only when businesses develop can jobs be created" - Mr. Ho Quoc Dung shared.
