"Football is an opportunity to spread love" - This is the emotional statement of Ms. Ngo Thu Ha - General Director of Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB ) with Tuoi Tre at the opening ceremony of the final round of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium (HCMC) on the morning of October 31.
The final round had the participation of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union team, with the main members being players of Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB).
Present with the Vietnam Bank Trade Union team before entering the final matches, Ms. Ngo Thu Ha shared about the tournament: "This is a large-scale tournament, bringing many meanings and values to workers and civil servants. We are very honored and proud to contribute to the tournament as the Vietnam Bank Trade Union team.
We would like to sincerely thank Tuoi Tre newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , and Vietnam Football Federation for organizing a playground to connect the feelings between players, workers, and civil servants across the country.
* How do you feel about being on the field with your team today?
- For the banking industry in general and SHB in particular, this is an opportunity to exchange, practice, and improve the health of employees, thereby creating practical values for society. For me, football is an opportunity to spread love. And we, the employees of SHB Bank, are very willing to share that love of football through this tournament.
* Next year, do you think there will be a SHB team with its own image and identity coming to the tournament?
- It is an honor. If given the opportunity, we will definitely organize a football team with our own name. Of course, representing the entire banking industry to the Football Tournament for Vietnamese workers and employees is a source of pride. But besides that, we also want to spread the values, identity and tradition of the SHB football team that we have built for many years.
* Banking work requires a lot of time and effort. So how has SHB created conditions for players to practice and compete?
- We sympathize and share with the players. The banking industry is now very busy and stressful. All of us here come from many fields, some of us have to work from early morning to late at night and still have work to do. Therefore, we always try to create the best conditions for everyone to arrange their work, focus on competing and give their all.
But the precious thing is that despite the hard work, the love for football of SHB players is always burning. Therefore, whenever they have free time, they put on their shoes and go out to the field to give their all in each match. We really appreciate that, and the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is an opportunity for the players' spirit and courage to be shown.
* What is the Bank Union team's goal in this year's final round?
- This is a big tournament, nationwide, so every team is strong, every team sets high goals. And the Bank Union team is no exception. It can be said that the results are also important. The players have sweated on the field whether it is sunny or rainy, have tried their best, so they deserve to receive good results.
However, in addition to achievements, we also expect our team to compete with a spirit of fair play and nobility, and to dedicate good and attractive matches to the audience. That is the most important thing.

Honored many times
Ms. Ngo Thi Hoa, born in 1973, has been with SHB for nearly 15 years. Since 2022, she has been the General Director. Thanks to her talent, she has been honored many times and received noble awards.
We can mention the "Outstanding Asian Entrepreneur" 2024 at the APEA Gala 2024, or recently the title "Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneur - Golden Rose" 2025 organized by the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in October.
