Mr. Tu said: "I expect the final round to not only be a place to honor the talent and sportsmanship of the worker-players but also a day of unity for the business community and workers nationwide."
The tournament contributes to promoting the movement of "physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh," creating motivation for each worker to love their job more, be more attached to the team, and make positive contributions to society. In addition, the VFF hopes that through this tournament, we can discover more potential talents for the amateur and semi-professional football movement in the future."
* The Northern and Southern regional qualifiers were very exciting. Compared to two years ago, what impressed you most in the qualifiers?
- This is because the professional quality and competitive spirit of the teams have improved significantly. Compared to two years ago, the participating teams this year are better prepared, with investments in personnel, tactics, and physical fitness. In addition, the dedication, fair play, and enthusiastic support from local audiences have created a truly vibrant football atmosphere, demonstrating the strong spread of the workers' football movement nationwide.
* Having watched the final match of the Northern regional qualifiers between the People's Police Trade Union team and the Vietnam Banking Trade Union team, how would you assess the quality of this year's tournament?
- The Northern regional final was truly exciting and of high professional quality. Both teams displayed a determined fighting spirit, discipline, and organized play. I believe this year's tournament showed remarkable progress in terms of technique, physical fitness, and tactics. This confirms the effectiveness of the close cooperation between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , the Vietnam Football Federation, and Tuoi Tre newspaper in organizing, training, and developing the sports movement among workers and laborers.
Furthermore, the tremendous support from the fans in the stands has also helped many teams perform well and surpass their own expectations. The final round promises to be a frenzied affair, and many teams will undoubtedly bring their passionate supporters to further boost their morale.
* Do you think the top four teams from the two regional qualifiers – the People's Police Union, the Vietnam Banking Union (North), Sacombank and Sawaco (South) – will create a dream final match in the final round?
- All four teams are strong, with well-balanced players and high fighting spirit. I believe that any match between them will provide the audience with spectacular, exciting, and emotional games.
Regardless of the outcome, the most important thing is that the spirit of sportsmanship, solidarity, and pride of the workers is spread through each match. If two of these four teams meet in the final, it will certainly be a true "dream final."
* The final match of the Northern qualifying round was officiated by FIFA referee Hoang Ngoc Ha, demonstrating the VFF's strong commitment to the tournament. Will the final match of the qualifying round also be officiated by a FIFA referee?
- The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) always prioritizes fairness, transparency, and professional quality in all tournaments, whether professional or amateur. Assigning FIFA referees to officiate important matches demonstrates our commitment to raising organizational standards and ensuring the fairest and most professional tournament possible.
In the national final round, the VFF Referee Committee will continue to assign a team of competent and experienced referees, which may include FIFA referees, to officiate the final match, aiming to provide spectators with a beautiful game, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, and worthy of the stature of the National Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.
