At the forum, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province Pham Van Thieu requested relevant agencies to create the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors, especially promoting digitalization in all fields, modernizing information technology in attracting investment. On the other hand, providing online public services throughout the process, regardless of administrative boundaries; promoting propaganda and investment promotion at home and abroad to call on businesses and investors to propose projects in the province.

The event is expected by Ca Mau province to contribute to promoting the image, introducing investment potential and strengthening connections between the business community inside and outside the province, increasing investment opportunities in the fields of energy, fisheries, trade - services, eco-tourism and processing industry. At the same time, creating a space for exchange and advice between provincial leaders, experts and businesses on economic development policies for the period 2025-2030; promoting economic development in the post-merger Ca Mau - Bac Lieu region.
Speaking at the forum, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen emphasized that Ca Mau is a locality with potential strengths and strategic advantages such as: a national fisheries center with the ability to reach international standards; a renewable energy center; a natural mangrove ecosystem favorable for the development of a green economy and a circular economy.
Along with that is the advantage of developing logistics service industries such as: Hon Khoai dual-use general port, airport and 3 highways connecting with economic centers of the region and Ho Chi Minh City. Ca Mau province also identifies business development as a key task, a driving force to promote economic growth, create jobs, improve labor productivity, modernize and restructure the economy. Therefore, the forum will be an opportunity for businesses and investors to meet, exchange and seek investment opportunities in Ca Mau. At the same time, it will be a bridge connecting businesses in the province with partners and businesses across the country to promote cooperation and investment for mutual development.
At the forum, entrepreneurs, clubs, and young entrepreneurs associations also analyzed and re-evaluated the potentials and strengths of Ca Mau in the fields of energy, aquaculture, shrimp processing, transport infrastructure, industrial park infrastructure, and economic zones of the province. At the same time, there were ideas, proposals, and solutions to exploit and effectively promote the potentials and strengths for sustainable development of Ca Mau province in the coming time.

Ms. Vo Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, Mekong Delta Branch, said: Hon Khoai Port is of particular interest to businesses. The port, along with its road system and transportation system, creates the most favorable conditions for goods from the Mekong Delta region to be exported to the world. This is a great opportunity for businesses to participate in the production and supply chain.
According to Mr. Pham Van Thieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province, the position of Ca Mau today is no longer a remote, isolated place, the "end of the country", but has been identified by the Central Government as "the southernmost province of the Fatherland", the gateway to the sea with many potentials, distinct advantages and many outstanding opportunities. In order for businesses and investors to feel secure in investing in the province in the coming time, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province Pham Van Thieu requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently review the planning, especially the provincial planning, sectoral planning to ensure consistency, promote the advantageous space of each locality to serve as a basis for orienting investment attraction by sector, field, and region to ensure compliance with the four pillars of investment attraction of the province. At the same time, direct relevant agencies to continue reviewing and cutting administrative procedures in all areas, focusing on land, business, and investment attraction.

At the forum, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony was also held between the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association. The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association also sponsored 5 billion VND to build toilets and clean water filtration facilities for schools in the province. On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province presented Certificates of Merit to units and enterprises that have made positive contributions to the economic development and social security of the province.
Also within the framework of the event, delegates had a field trip to U Minh Ha National Park, Khanh An Industrial Park, and some typical economic-tourism models such as Hoa Binh 1 Wind Power Plant, Quan Am Phat Dai Pagoda and Bac Lieu High-Tech Shrimp Development Agricultural Zone. This is an opportunity for businesses and investors to learn more about the potential for industrial development, renewable energy, aquaculture and eco-tourism in Ca Mau province.
