Mr. Nhat said that for a 1-acre durian garden, he ties it for more than a week, depending on the number of trees, big or small. He is paid 600,000-650,000 VND/day. The work time is 7 hours.

He has been tying durian for over 30 years, this job provides him with a stable income. To do this job, one must be small, agile and have good health.

This job is not difficult but requires experience, if you do not tie the durian tree in the direction of the tree, the branches will break and the fruit will fall. On sunny days, it is less slippery and dangerous, but it will still be very tiring. On rainy days, the branches are very slippery, so you have to climb slowly and carefully.

During the process, we must ask experienced farmers to tie durian trees to limit risks.

I can do it but it's slow. For example, if I can make one tree, a professional can make eight trees, so the efficiency is not high. Long Khanh's weather is about to enter the rainy season, forcing me to protect the fruit, so I hired a team to tie the durian trees, that's the most effective."
